Ok, I wish someone paid me 100 Grand, or that it was the budget of my next film, but I’m marking a small milestone for myself: 100,000 hits on my videos. That’s cummilitive, but I still think that’s pretty good.
The new video for the Spider-man contest will be done soon and I’ll get links for that up as soon as I can.
Well, I’ve been swamped lately, but it’s good to see that folks are still visiting the site and watching the videos. Iron Man just hit 60,000 hits on YouTube! What’s better is the response is still pretty good.
The Affleck/Aflac video is slowly chugging along. Now all I need is for good ‘ole Ben to make some headlines and maybe people will search for him some more. I can hope, right? Also, some outtakes from the video starring the irrepressable Sean Mattner should be hitting YouTube at some point in the near future. The man is something else all together.
I wrapping up a Spider-man video as well. Target is sponsoring a “webisode” contest and I’ll be finishing that up and getting my entry in soon. If I don’t make the cut, look for it to show up on the web sometime this summer, and if I win (fingers crossed, I’ve never won anything), it’ll turn up on a bonus disc being sold with Spider-man 3 at Target. Now if I can get everything done by May 3….

Well, early this morning I uploaded and officially unveiled the secret Aflac Parody I’d been working on. If you read the title of this post then it’s already clear, I’m making fun of the ads and I’ve dropped Ben Affleck into the mix. It’s not a great leap, but an idea that kept my wife, an avid Affleck fan, chuckling.
Early pre-production has started on the next movie and maybe, just maybe, we’ll land Affleck for the lead. Probably not.
The Aflac parody is moving forward slowly. A few reshoots last week just to clean up a a couple shots and a little more editing and this thing will be in the can. Then it’s on to the next project…
In other news: the Iron Man trailer hit 50,000 over the weekend. Who’s the April fool now, huh? Great to see it keep going like that. I even saw that a few foreign sites were linking to it. Funny that it says it’s fan made right up front, but with the help of babelfish I was able to read through some arguements about whether it was real or not. Obviously not, people. I even saw a link on the official Iron Man Myspace forums, which is cool.
